The first session focuses on understanding what brought you to counselling, your concerns, your background, and what kind of support may be helpful. Ella will work with you to identify goals and move at a pace that feels manageable.
Counselling may be helpful if you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, disconnected, grieving, burned out, or unsure how to move forward. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from support.
The length of counselling depends on your needs, goals, and circumstances. Some clients attend for a few sessions to work through a specific concern, while others prefer longer-term support.
